BJP’s Prime ministerial candidate has flip flopped on Nuclear deal and his name also went through political gyrations. Lal Salaam Advani is the new name ever since he aligned with Left parties for pretty politics.
It was Ram Janma Bhoomi earlier and now its Nuclear deal and could be something else as long as BJP is not in power.
There is huge chance of bigger splits in BJP, Left and BSP parties. Amar Singh’s influence cannot be under estimated. He can flow money to the vacilitating MPs from his industrial mentors. NO matter what it takes, they have the will and money to get the numbers and that will happen.
TDP and some other smaller parties may surprise wither by split or by switch. Anything can happen in Indian politics.
BJP, Left, BSP will be in soupe if elections happen sooner or later. By giving the nuclear deal a communal angle, they have done a great danger to the Society and will be hard to erase.
BJP will loose becasue Left, BSP and splinter groups such as TDP will never let BJP take power in the center.
This was the golden oppurtunity for BJP to get a secular tag by aligning with UPA on nuclear deal.
They have lost it all.
Did advani do flip flop on nuclear deal or congress?First time nuclear deal was discussed 3 years ago and why did the congress waste 3 golden years.If they wanted to take SP and do horse trading they could have done 3 years before.Why they waited?The reason is simple.UPA has failed on inflation and terrorism.So they wanted nuclear debate so that it becomes election issue and people forget inflation and terrorism.But after trust vote terrorist celebrated their victory by bomb blast in bangalore and ahmadabad.

BJP first started the nuclear deal. As BJP initiated it, terms of the deal were stacked against us and BJP was ready to pursue it.
After BJP lost power, Nuclear deal was started by USA on their own and terms were much much better than those under BJP initiated deal.
BJP was all set with a nod for the deal concummated by UPA, but later wavered due to internal differences and political situation at th center.
BJP blindly got influenced by Left and went too far in opposing the deal without any merits to their arguments. When Left started licking BSP, BJP started realizing its follies.
Inflation and terrorism are a global phenomenon. No amount local policies will solve these problems. 11 or 200% inflation doesn’t mean that we should stop everything and sit down solving inflation related issues.
We are big country, we need to tackle each and every issue without any delay.
BJP has lost a golden oppurtunity to win the mass support and has exposed its lack of strategic thinking. BJP has lost the plot.
LK Advani clearly flip floped on nuclear deal and next elections will throw Left and BJP to the dustbin.
