Twitter Tharoor now part of cattle class politicians

Hahahahah,

Finally Tharoor is neither new breed young politician with a difference nor is he a intelligent techno politician.
What a fool he is to send text messages to Modi to influence IPL auction? What a complete moron he is to indirectly take bribe through his future to-be-wife.

India is a place where majority of people doesn’t believe in team work. That is the reason, why Modi thinks he is alone responsible for IPL success and hence he should alone reap the benefits. So, he ran the IPL empire as if he is the boss with no second authority in sight. He became so greedy that he chooses who should own the IPL franchise and who should own the media distribution rights.

Government should investigate the flow of illegal money into the country. This money is causing real estate prices to rise unimaginably high making home ownership costly for common man.  This illegal money is the reason, why IPL franchise ownership is running into millions of dollars with no known sources of profitability. It appears as if super rich are playing games among themselves and for their own entertainment.

Every bidder past, present or future should submit last 10 years of tax filings and show proof of the money that whatever they are putting in for IPL is earned lawfully.

Show modi and tharoor the exit door, so they can be on Twitter full time amusing the followers.

Thanks
Sri

Sania going to be second wife of a liar and that too to a Pakistani?

I fail to understand the rationale and urge of Sania mirza to get married to Shoab malik.
This person has proven to be a liar and also in the midst of match fixing.  Sania being on top in India and getting married to someone at the bottom in Pakistan is really confusing.

I am guessing that Sania will call off her wedding to Shoab, if they are not already Wedded in Dubai as per some news publications.

Both Shiv Sena and SRK are to be blamed for non screening of MNIK in Mumbai

Let us first blame the state government in Maharashtra that has failed to guarantee the security to screen the MNIK in Mumbai. The state government has given into the verbal threats of Shiv Sena. This is an utter failure of Law and democracy. The existing laws are sufficient to arrest the idiot Bal Thackeray and his goons for taking law into their hands and threatening the theaters.

Shiv is 100% wrong and its supremo and bunch of his goons needs to be sent to jail.

SRK: Shah rukh khan has biggest share of this blame. Now that theaters have come out in open to not screen his movie My Name is Khan, he is now speaking of his non-negotiable integrity which is shaky to begin with. I ask him few questions
1) Where was his integrity, when he issued an unwarranted press statement that “Pakistani players should have been selected in the IPL”. Why didn’t he mention, why he didn’t pick Pakistani players for the IPL? His statements have actually wrongly conveyed the message to Pakistani people that the decision not to take Pakistani players was not his, but some external powers. While the actual reason was not political, but purely business. IPL is a private enterprise and government has no role in it.
2) Wasn’t his desire to make MNIK a bigger success than 3 idiots, that prompted him to issue the press release related to non inclusion of Pakistan players in IPL?
Actually he wanted MNIK to be a big success in Pakistan which could help him eclipse the 3 Idiots success and beat Amir Khan.

Without proper planning and thinking, he made series of mistakes in run up to the release of MNIK. The first one being the Newark international airport fiasco.

The second one being IPL fiasco and third being the talk of his integrity. His integrity is questionable. He has actually talked about personally meeting Bal Thackarray to beg him not to stop the screening of MNIK.
Hope he learns the lessons.

Indian bloggism better than Indian journalism

I have no doubt in my mind that Indian bloggers are in much better shape than Indian journalists in shaping this nation. Most of Indian journalists are short sighted, jingoists and don’t see the larger picture in their reporting or in the topic they are reporting on. Indian journalists are trigger happy and often confuse their readers by mixing personal opinion and the news item in the same article. There are many many incidents where Indian media has grossly misled the nation on many important issues.

Indian media has not done a good job in researching the attacks on Indians in Australia before carrying several articles and have given racial color to each and every incident. Indian media has not done thorough job in recent IPL fiasco and have confused the Indian and Pakistani public by falsely reporting Governmental influence in final decision making. Indian media has done huge disservice by not carrying correct opinions/editorials on US India civil nuclear deal.
On one side i am very unhappy with the Indian journalism and on the other side, i am worried as to how this irresponsible lot of journalists can shape Indian minds going forward.

Hope we see better media both in print and electronic in future.

Confusion around not picking Pakistani players by IPL franchises

Let us be clear on few fronts before we start abusing each other and adding to the existing confusion.
a) IPL franchises are private enterprises. These teams pick and choose players for their benefit.
b) If a Pakistani player is picked, but is not allowed to play for that franchise as per his contract for multitude of reasons like
a) Pakistan not allowing players to go to India to play
b) Indian government not giving visas for Pakistan players
c) Security threats to Pakistani players (because Shive Sena in Mumbai constantly issues threats)

then these IPL franchises will loose money. No body on earth will like to loose money.

If the current episode shouldn’t repeat in future then this IPL business needs to be streamlined.  Indian government should guarantee the security of all players and these modlities can be worked out.  All the governments from where these players are coming to play as part of IPL, should allow their cricketers to leave the country with any ban or restrictions.
ICC should also be consulted, so that IPL games and international match dates don’t coincide causing problems for the IPL players.

If Shahrukh khan says that Pakistani players should have been picked, then he should also answer as to why his franchise didn’t pick the Pakistani players?
Thanks

Sri
